In recent weeks we have had an increase in our weekly Neighbors experiencing food scarcity and need. We would invite you to help us refill our shelves with nutritious foods so we can share our surplus with our community. If you would like to share with us, please consider donating:

We love to celebrate milestones and life changes with our neighbors. Recently, one of our neighbors visited us and shared how, with the help of the Good Neighbor Cupboard and some other local assistance agencies, she had been able to move into her own rental home from living an unsheltered life for several months. Through the generous support and donations of donors at the Good Neighbor Cupboard, we were able to provide additional housing items to help our neighbor as she was setting up her new home. We are thankful for continued support and donations to help our neighbors. We look forward to serving you soon!Even though we are made for working and for resting, many of our neighbors struggle to rest because of food insecurity and scarcity. As you recognize National Relaxation Day on August 15, we would ask you to consider supporting us at the Good Neighbor Cupboard. You can support us by: 1) visiting the Cupboard and volunteering your time with us, 2) hosting a food drive in your neighborhood, place of worship, school or work, 3) donating money to the Cupboard, or 4) inspiring your organization to donate to the Cupboard. Please reach out to us at: 864.224.1701 or at goodneighborcupboard@gmail.com to support us at the Good Neighbor Cupboard. We look forward to hearing from you.
As we remember August 8, which is "National Sleep Under the Stars" Day, we are mindful of our neighbors who are unsheltered. We seek to provide a nutritious weekly lunch bag to these neighbors. We try to fill these “lunch bags” with items like tuna lunch kits, protein bars, nourishing granola bars, canned foods with pop tops (i.e. Chef Boyardee type products, Vienna sausages, etc.), peanut butter/cheese cracker packs and bottled water. If you would like to partner with us and provide food for our unsheltered neighbors, please reach out to us by phone (864.224.1701 or by e-mail (goodneighborcupboard@gmail.com). We thank you for your continued support. With the start of school for many in our community, we are excited about supporting our neighbors and their families. While we strive to provide nutritious food to our neighbors, we also enjoy sharing occasional special “treats” with our neighbors and their families. In recent weeks we have been able to provide birthday cakes and goodies for our younger neighbors through generous community donations. We are thankful to be a part of such a lavish community who strives to support our neighbors through donations. Please call (864.224.1701) or email (goodneighborcupboard@gmail.com) us for ways you can donate here at the Cupboard. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Each week we are fortunate and thankful that we can provide a supplemental “lunch bag” for our unsheltered neighbors. We are thankful for our generous donors who provide nutritious foods for our unsheltered neighbors. If you would like to partner with us and help up provide foods for our unsheltered neighbors, these are some of the foods we like to share: tuna lunch kits, protein bars, nourishing granola bars, canned foods with pop tops (i.e. Chef Boyardee type products), peanut butter/cheese cracker packs. Thank you for helping our neighbors. We could not do this without you.We are always excited to serve our families and their children with our abundance of foods and special treats. Here at the Cupboard we strive to provide healthy, nutritious food to our Neighbors; we don’t usually get items like dog treats, sodas or children’s supplement drinks. We love being able to share these special items like dog treats, cat/dog food soft drinks and children’s nourishment supplements when we have these items to share. We are glad to share these items and more with you if you have a need. Please come visit us Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 9a - 12p. We look forward to seeing you soon!We are so thankful for Second Harvest Metrolina for their donations for our weekly deliveries. We could not reach all of our food neighbors without the help of Second Harvest. For the months of July and August we will be receiving our weekly donations early in the morning to combat the sweltering summer heat. We thank you for your patience on Tuesday mornings as we receive our food donations.
